Salina Regional Gastroenterology
Salina Regional Health Center is proud to have Dr. Paul Johnson, Dr. Jesica Brown and Dr. Luke Johnson, along with Kaylee Wiens, PA, lead our gastroenterology service line at Salina Regional Gastroenterology.
The team diagnoses, treats, and manages a variety of gastrointestinal (GI) conditions and performs procedures using advanced medical technology and resources.
Gastroenterology (GI) is a specialized area of medicine that focuses on the GI tract. The GI tract, also known as the digestive system, includes body parts such as the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. The GI tract is responsible for digesting and moving food, absorbing nutrients, and removing waste from the body. Gastroenterologists are medical doctors that have received three years of specialized training focusing on and learning how to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions pertaining to the GI tract.
Salina Regional Gastroenterology works closely with a team of experts, including general surgeons and oncologists from Salina Regional Health Center, for surgical and oncological care to ensure patients have the expertise and resources they need.
In addition to seeing patients in Salina, our gastroenterologists also see patients at outreach locations in Ellsworth and Plainville.
